Here is our fearless teacher (1st photo), who never lost faith that we could sculpt teddy bears and critters with her always excellent instruction. Everyone had a great time and left with a wonderful felted bear, cat, or other critter.

GAINESWOOD ANTEBELLUM HOME, GREENSBORO, AL




Here are old clothing items, a sewing machine, and doll bed and carriage displayed at Gaineswood, a Greek Revival antebellum home and museum at Greensboro, Al. Double left click to enlarge photos. Can you imagine sewing all these tiny tucks and embellishments with this small machine? The carriage appears to be a Joel Ellis made in Vermont in the 1880's.
